The Rising Tide: Women at Cambridge is an exhibition telling the stories and celebrating lived experiences of leading academics to extraordinary domestic staff and influential fellows’ wives at Cambridge University. Pioneering women who endured so many challenges throughout their lives and still do today, including fighting for equal educational rights and female recognition.
Taking the students and figures, young and old, past and present, a collage identity was built with links to all generations. Creating not a rising tide, but a tidal wave of women at Cambridge University.
