New Dutch Writing is a promotional campaign run by the Dutch Foundation for Literature to promote Dutch writing (fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, children’s and poetry books) in translation in the UK and Ireland. The campaign includes over 70 author events at a range of festivals and literature venues nationwide.
An identity was created from taking the bookmark, a universal symbol from readers the world over, and using it as an identifiable, fun and flexible device that adjusts to the shape and size of any kind of content or event.
